VIDEO: Sony’s PT is actually Kojima and del Toro’s Silent Hills

A new Silent Hill game was revealed yesterday, and we didn’t even know it.

An interactive teaser for a game called PT was announced during Sony’s Gamescom 2014 press conference last night. And as is revealed in the video below, all was most definitely not what it seemed.

Silent Hills is being made by Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and movie director Guillermo del Torro of Pacific Rim and Pan’s Labyrinth fame.

Remember that del Toro previously worked on THQ’s InSane.

Silent Hills is credited as being developed by 7780s Studio, which is a new name on the scene. Kojima also used a fictional developer – Moby Dick Studios – to announce Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
