VidZone TV announced

Today’s VidZone update will add a brand new piece of functionality called VidZone TV to the music video on demand software.

It will offer over 100 pre-programmed music channels that can be viewed at any time. They are broken down into various themes such as genre, year or artist. Other feature’s added in the update include a new main menu carousel, improved search and the ability to shop on PSN without exiting the app.

The launch of VidZone TV brings our fans even more ways to enjoy music TV with PS3,” VidZone Digital Media’s European marketing manager Isabelle Tomatis stated.

VidZone gives you all the options to put you in complete control of your music. And with Blu-ray movies, PlayStation Network Video delivery service, PlayTV,games and the internet, VidZone is just one more reason to make PS3 your centre for enjoyable home entertainment.”

VidZone served over 380m videos in its first nine months of availability on PS3. It has over 3m registered users.
