Vita 3G delayed in Canada, retail claims

Retailer EB Games has contacted many of its Canadian customers saying that the 3G-ready version of the PlayStation Vita has been delayed in the country.

It had been due to arrive in February alongside the US and European releases, but will now not arrive until April.

Further speculation blames the change on the need for extensive planning and testing with [Sony’s] 3G partner", Kotaku reports.

The Vita will finally make its long-awaited debut when it launches in Japan this weekend. However, those hoping to import the device be warned – Sony has indicated that content will be region locked.
