Saints Row creative director Steve Jaros is leaving Volition to join Valve in an unspecified role.

The industry vet confirmed the move on Twitter in a series of posts—stating that it was time to move on to "new adventures," and that he was thankful for the "life changing" experiences at Volition.

Jaros spent the last 10 years at the Saints Row studio, working as creative director of the franchise for the lion-share of his time with the developer. No word on what specific projects Jaros will contribute to in his new role at Valve.

Volition is currently working on Saints Row IV for PS4 and Xbox One, with the game’s current-gen console debut set for January 27th, 2015.
