Warframe heads to Xbox One in September

Free-to-play shooter Warframe will launch next month on Xbox One, developer Digital Extremes has announced.

The studio revealed the news during a presentation over the weekend (video below, skip to 7:45), stating that the game will arrive on September 2nd for Microsoft’s latest console.

The title originally released in open beta for Windows PC in early 2013, and officially launched later in the year on the platform alongside a PlayStation 4 version.

Warframe has garnered over 10m registered users in the 18 months since its early access release.
