Warner ships 4.6m Batman: Arkham City units

Having become one of the highest rated games of all time, Batman: Arkham City is now on track to be a massive retail success.

Warner has announced that it has shipped over 4.6m units of the current UK No.1 around the world since its US launch on October 18th.

Though the publisher doesn’t give any firm sales numbers, it does say that week one sales have been double that enjoyed by predecessor Arkham Asylum.

Batman: Arkham Cityis one of the best action adventure games, proven by the tremendous reviews, and it further establishes the Batman brand as a marquee franchise for our growing business,” Warner Interactive president Martin Tremblay stated.
