Watch Dogs for Wii U listed by multiple retailers

Three retail listings in the US suggest that Ubisoft is working on a Wii U version of upcoming sci-fi action title Watch Dogs.

The game has previously been confirmed for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC (and, if rumour is to be believed, next-gen machines).

Now listings for a Wii U version have appeared on Amazon, GameStop and Best Buy.

The move, if true, would likely go some way to appease the vocal online Nintendo masses who were predictably outraged at the news earlier this month that former Wii U exclusive Rayman Legends had been delayed on the machine and will now by a multiplatform release.

Critics accused the publically owned business of betraying” Nintendo by failing to support its struggling console.
