Watch Dogs on Wii U will get some DLC after all

Ubisoft is going to release some DLC for the Wii U version of Watch Dogs.

The publisher has previously said that the Bad Blood DLC, which was released for the existing versions of the game, wouldn’t make the jump to Wii U.

But Polygon now reports that at least two pieces of premium content will be released for the game on Nintendo’s machine – the Access Granted Pack and Watch Dogs: Conspiracy.

The first offers three additional missions, some skins and a few extra character perks while the latter includes a new Digital Trip mission.

Watch Dogs is hitting Wii U this Friday (November 21st) with seemingly little fanfare.

The publisher has previously said that Watch Dogs will be its last mature game release on the platform following poor sales of titles such as Assassin’s Creed IV.

Ubisoft has also previously said that it has a finished game ready and waiting for release on Wii U as and when the sales pick up. It remains to be seen whether recent sales gains will be enough to convince Ubisoft to give the console a second chance.
