Watch Dogs Wii U delayed

The Wii U version of Watch Dogs is still in development, but won’t launch alongside the rest of the game’s platforms this spring.

The delay was confirmed during Ubisoft’s call to investors this week, where the publisher again committed to a spring release target for the title on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

The Wii U version will now arrive at a later date,” according to the company.

Cancellation rumours of Watch Dogs on Wii U surfaced last month, when GameStop began dropping pre-orders for the version. Ubisoft later put the reports to rest, claiming a glitch” was the culprit of the confusion.
