What’s Out Today? w/e October 7th, 2011

Consumers prepare to die as the "toughest game ever" arrives on shelves, courtesy of Namco Bandai.

Dark Souls is available today and follows on from the PS3 cult hit, Demon’s Souls. The game challenges players to navigate a series of boobytrap-laden dungeons where death is a varied and all-too-regular experience.

Bethesda’s Rage also makes it debut, taking players to a post-apocalyptic future rendered in the brand new engine by FPS legend id Software.

Also out today, is Power-Up Heroes (Ubisoft) and NBA 2K12 (2K Games). And keep your eyes peeled on Tuesday, October 11th for the release of Ubisoft’s Just Dance 3.
