Xbox One release date to be announced today

Microsoft will announce its worldwide release plans for the Xbox One later today.

That’s according to retail sources, with CVG spotting that both GAME’s Xbox store at Boxpark and online retailer ShopTohave confirmed as much on Twitter.

Microsoft has for some time resolutely stuck to its ‘November’ launch plans, although its announcement last month that it had pushed Xbox One’s release to 2014 in a number of European territories means that some changes have obviously occurred behind the scenes.

The company blamed Kinect localisation problems for the delay.

MCV will have news of the release date the moment we receive it.
