Zavvi launches iPhone app

Zavvi.com customers can now purchase goods more easily from the online retailer courtesy of its new iPhone app.

The Hut Group-owned retailer has implemented ‘See It, Snap It, Snag It’ technology into the app, which allows users to take a photograph of an item then find it and buy it online.

Zavvi’s app recognises over half a million products including video games, DVDs, Blu-rays, consumer electronics and fashion brands. The app also promises exclusive deals, promotional vouchers and product recommendations tailored to the user’s interests.

A shake of the iPhone displays a selection of the best deals of the day, while customers can add favourites to a wish list and even send ideas to friends via email, Facebook and Twitter.

The Hut Group’s commercial director Richard Chapple said: We’re very excited about the new Zavvi.com app.

We’re connecting social media, magazines, billboards and brands and bringing the world of entertainment to customers at the touch of a button.”

Users can download the free Zavvi iPhone application from the App Store.
