Zavvi outlines new identity

Zavvi, the new retailer to emerge following the buyout of Virgin Megastores, has unveiled its new logo – one that it says reflects its dedication to being a truly multi-channel, independent entertainment retailer”.

Managing director Simon Douglas stated: We wanted something that was clear and simple. Zavvi will be all about making life easy for consumers, giving them a choice on both the High Street and online, so our logo had to reflect that.”

Zavvi’s marketing and e-commerce director Steve Kincaid added: Zavvi will have a completely independent ethos that will be reflected in everything it does from the product it sells to in-store events to above the line advertising.

However, its independent spirit will not be at the expense of its mainstream appeal and the management team intend to continue to make the shopping experience attractive to all consumers by providing a product range with something for everyone both on line and on the High Street.”
