Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and F1 2017 dethrone Crash Bandicoot in UK charts

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has gone straight in at No.1 in the UK weekly charts, becoming the sixth PlayStation exclusive title to debut at the top spot so far this year.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, meanwhile, fell to No.3 after sales declined by 10 per cent week-on-week, allowing Codemasters’ F1 2017 to take No.2. EA’s Madden NFL 18 also debuted last week at No.4. Both sports titles put in a respectable performance, almost matching the sales of last year’s respective editions.

The only other new release last week was Team17 and Sold Out’s The Escapists 2, which entered the charts at No.12. Sales were up 379 per cent compared to its predecessor, making it the first title in the series to debut inside the Top 40.

Meanwhile, a price promotion for Overwatch’s Game of the Year Edition saw it shoot up the charts to No.21, with sales increasing 171 per cent week-on-week, while Minecraft: Story Mode – The Complete Adventure also returned to the Top 40 at No.28 thanks to the launch of the Nintendo Switch version.

Here’s the Top Ten in full for the week ending August 26th:

1. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (Sony)
2. F1 2017 (Codemasters)
3. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy (Activision Blizzard)
4. Madden NFL 18 (EA)
5. Grand Theft Auto V (Take-Two)
6. Fallout 4 (Bethesda)
7. Dishonored 2 (Bethesda)
8. Forza Horizon 3 (Microsoft)
9. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Siege (Ubisoft)
