Studio moving to new Malta office as work progresses on unannounced shooter sequel

4A Games leaving Ukraine to continue next Metro game

Metro 2033 and Last Light developer 4A Games is to uproot from its Ukrainian home and relocate to Malta.

It says that Malta’s position as an EU state will better help it compete internationally, although the ongoing political turmoil in Ukraine will surely have played a part in the decision.

The new Malta office will become its HQ, although it will maintain its Ukrainian office and continue to recruit devs from the region. Key managers will be making the journey to the Mediterranean island.

4A Games is a finalist in the Develop Awards 2014.
