Artificial Intelligence conference readying sessions

AIIDE-09 calls for speakers

The organisers of the Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Digital Entertainment conference have made a call for the submission of presentation proposals.

An April 14th deadline has been set for proposals, and those with relevant experience are encouraged to speak at the event in either the research or industry tracks.

Taking place from October 14th to 16th at Stanford University in California, AIIDE-09 strives to provide a point of interaction between entertainment software developers and those involved in AI through industry or academia. In it’s fifth year, the conference focuses on traditional games, but also encompasses serious gaming, entertainment robotics, and other fields.

A tentative list of suggested topics for sessions includes topics such as AI authoring tools, AI architectures for games and commercial AI implementations.

For more information on the event and the submissions process, visit the AAIDE-09 website.
