Registration for design entries has officially opened

Animation10 event heads to Manachester

Electronic Arts and Google will be this year’s sponsor for Animation10, a not-for-profit design competition aimed to get young people interested in computer sciences.

The contest allows young people aged between 7 and 19 to create 1 minute animation shorts using a variety of programs, from Scratch to Flash to Serif DrawPlus.

Last year, Animation09 managed to attract some 800 entries, with over 400 children attending the Film Show and Awards Ceremony day at The Manchester Museum of Science and Industry.

The competition is now open for registration.
