Beta website allows industry employees to rate their workplace

Are you happy with your employer?

A new website allows those working in the video game industry to anonymously rate their employer on a number of criteria.

Visitors to Your Workplace, which is currently in a beta build, can also view numerous statistics on issues such as overtime, staff treatment, management, business strategy and employee skill levels.

Those who rate their employer must do so via a relevant company email address, but privacy is assured by the site’s founder Jeremy Chatelaine, who worked with studios including Ubisoft, Lionhead and Argonaut before a move to the finance industry.

"I don’t work in the video game industry anymore, so I don’t care if one company is being smashed or praised by its employees, I’m only interested in a fair view of the how it is to work for that company," said Chatelaine.
