Avatar recruitment firm expands to US

Staffing firm Avatar Games Recruitment says that its business across America and Canada has encouraged the group to set up a new office in the US.

Two former game developers are set to join the new office in September, while the UK base will provide support across the Atlantic.

Three more staff will join the US base early next year.

“This is an exciting period, we are working hard to change the face of recruitment and now are services are in big demand overseas,” said managing director Eamonn Mgherbi.

“We are very excited and are looking forward to working on an exclusive basis with some of the best businesses in the industry.

“I have faith in the team here and I strongly believe that are energy, enthusiasm and team work is going to be inherited by the US office.

“We are very proud of what we are achieving here in Europe and are working hard to make 2011 the start of something very special, we understand the markets in the US Canada and ASIA and will work hard to translate our success to our overseas office”.
