Lobbying ends this Friday â?? have you got your pitch in?

Black Rock sponsors Develop Awards

Brighton-based racing supremo Black Rock has signed up as official event partner to the Develop Awards.

Taking place on July 15th at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton, the awards are the only peer-voted prizes rewarding the achievements of UK and European games developers.

Want to be in the running for an award? You’d better be quick – the deadline for entry is this Friday May 15th.

Provided your studio released a game or games in the past twelve months or contributed to the business in some way during that time, and your business is based in the UK or Europe you’re eligible to lobby for a nomination – whether you are independent or in-house, tools company or service provider.

Lobbying is simple – simply send through a short text pitch to Develop’s editor-in-chief at Michael.French@intentmedia.co.uk. Don’t forget – do it now, in fact. Jot down 100 words or so and fire it over.

There are awards for best new IP, best art, best audio, best tools provider (open to companies around the world), best independent developer, best in-house developer, technical innovation and many more. If you need to find out more about the awards and need background on each of the 17 prizes available, click here for our recent guide on How to Win a Develop Award.
