US based independent developer adopts Hansoftâ??s production management toolset

Blue Fang opts for Hansoft

Independent North American developer Blue Fang has confirmed that it has become the latest outfit to utilise Hansoft’s production management toolset solution.

“Blue Fang has tried many project management tools over the past ten years, ranging from industry standards to homegrown systems,” Blue Fang producer Fred Galpern stated.

“Each had their strengths and weaknesses but only Hansoft has brought it all together in a single package that is useful for both our developers and producers. The ability to work with agile and traditional methods makes Hansoft the most attractive option for the way we develop games.”

Hansoft CEO Patric Palm added: “Blue Fang is well known for its high quality games and we are excited to provide them with a tool that will help them increase studio productivity and maintain the inspirational environment that makes the team so successful.

“Teams using Hansoft don’t have to choose between agile and scheduling project management styles. Hansoft enables these different styles to be run side by side, within the same development project.”

Hansoft is now embedded with dev teams across 20 countries. It is used for collaborative scheduling, task tracking, QA and bug tracking, resource usage and document management.
