Original ships 700,000 copies, with 200,000 sold to consumers

CI Games working on Lords of the Fallen sequel

Developer CI Games has begun work on a sequel to Lords of the Fallen.

"We’re now working on vision and concepts for Lords 2," executive producer Tomasz Gop told Euroogamer, without revealing any further details.

The studio had previously revealed that it had shipped around 700,000 copies of the game, 200,000 of which had been sold to consumers. With a development budget just short of £8m, the studio needed to ship in the region of half a million copies to break even.

CI Games previously said the success of Lords of the Fallen has encouraged the studio to try more triple-A game development.
