Successful applicants can now also raise extra money from investors

Creative England opens new round of Greenshoots funding worth £250k

Creative England has opened the next round of its Greenshoots programme offering £250,000 to ten indie studios across England.

The funding for indie developers is capped at up to £25,000 per studio. Investors and publishers are now being brought in from the start of the scheme however, meaning additional investment could also be provided to successful applicants to develop their projects.

As well as funding, developers on the programme will receive support, mentorship from Microsoft and other industry partners, access to Windows devices for testing and access to industry networking events.

Greenshoots funding is open to developers based in the North West, North East, Yorkshire and Humberside, West Midlands, East Midlands and the South West.

Applications for the scheme close at 9am on October 20th.
