DONTNOD sets sights on triple-A console titles and cross-media products

Criterion vet forms new studio

Former Criterion Software staff member Oskar Guilbert has formed a new studio, DONTNOD Entertainment.

The firm, which is based in Paris, has been co-founded by Guilbert together with art director Aleksi Briclot and award-winning science fiction author Alain Damasio.

Targeting triple-A console games and ‘far-reaching cross media products’, the company has already won the French Innovative Companies Competition prize for its real-time 3D fluid simulation technology.

"We aim at becoming a major, reliable actor in the game development scene and a pleasant partner to work with," said Guilbert.
