Potential speakers and panelists have until 11.59pm Eastern European Time to submit

Deadline for GDC EU speaker submissions closes today

The deadline approaches for anyone hoping to speak at this year’s European edition of the Game Developers Conference.

Held in Cologne, Germany alongside Gamescom, the even will run from August 3rd to 4th and brings together developers, service firms and more from across Europe and around the world.

The conference organisers are seeking speakers and panelists with “deep industry expertise and a fresh and unique perspective on the state of the industry”, according to the event’s website.

The deadline for submissions is 11.59pm Eastern European Time today – that’s 9.59pm for those in the UK.

The organisers stress that vendor-specific proposals and “thinly-veiled advertisements” will not be accepted, nor will any talk submitted by PR firms or other third parties representing developers; they must come from the original authors.

You can find more advice on how to prepare your submission at the conference’s website.
