Digital drives EA Q4 revenues

EA has revealed its financial results for Q4 of fiscal 2012, as well as fiscal 2012 as a whole.

EA’s total net revenue hit $1.36bn during Q4, a 24 per cent increase over the $1.09bn reported at the end of this same period in fiscal 2011.

Net revenue of packaged goods for the quarter was gauged at $949m, up from $879m reported last year from the same period. Revenue generated from digital sales nearly doubled year-over-year, from $211m to $419m.

Net income for Q4 was also up year-over-year, $400m for the period ending on March 31, 2012 as compared with $151m for the same period a year ago.
