Donya signs integration deals with NCsoft

3D Tools provider Donya has signed a deal with Korean studio NCsoft to supply its Simplygon LOD models tech for use in several upcoming games from the latter company.

NCsoft will use the 3D pipeline in MMORPG titles including Blade & Soul.

“There are many MMORPG projects in NCsoft. Managing and optimising thousands to tens of thousands of polygons is most inefficient work in time and cost aspects,” said NCsoft chief art director Hyung Jun Kim.

“Simplygon is the best solution to deal with the problem.”
