Draw Something passes 50 million downloads

OMGPOP’s hit mobile game, Draw Something, passed the fifty million download mark today, the company announced.

The title was recently purchased by Zynga, who believe this might be the fastest growing mobile game of all time.

Since launch, over six billion drawings have been created, at a rate of three a second on the first day.

The game has become "one of the fastet growing internet sensations we’ve seen," said Zynga.

Draw Something has retaken the #1 paid app spot on the App Store, which it recently lost to Rovio’s Angry Birds Space.
