€1m development contest begins

Computec has relaunched its Make The Game contest, offering developers the chance to get their game published.

The prize is a publishing contract and marketing budget worth €1m, plus an advertising campaign that will push the winning social game to the European media firm’s audience of over five million consumers.

“We have direct access to millions of gamers and can support developers financially,” said Computec COO Hans Ippisch.

Participants must register by April 16th and submit their social or browser game by June 30th. The winner will be announced at Gamescom in August.

Last year’s winning title, Reborn Horizon, will be published this month.
