Sim City Social will launch on Facebook later this month, Maxis head Lucy Bradshaw announced at EA’s E3 2012 press conference.
"It is a Sim City for everyone and you get to play it in a few weeks," said Bradshaw.
Touted as the weapon in EA’s arsenal to "win back our city-building crown", the game is designed to pull users away from rival social game company Zynga.
