E3 2013: PS4’s social functions shown off in video

Sony has released a new trailer demonstrating the social features of PS4.

Earlier in the year, it introduced the Share button as an important factor of its new DualShock 4 controller, which will be a vital part of the PS4 system.

The button will enable users to instantly post text, screenshots and video to social networks and other services used by friends and the gaming community.

The trailer shows how players can access bits of the PS4’s social functions using smartphones, and how players can download part of a game and then start playing before it’s done.
