E3 2014: GTA V coming to PS4 this autumn

The fastest selling game in entertainment history is coming to the PS4 this autumn.

The news was revealed by Sony’s Andrew House during its E3 press conference. He said the port would take “full advantage” of the PS4’s hardware to upgrade the game’s graphics, plus a number of other features.

He also revealed that PS3 players will be able to transfer their saves and characters over to the PS4 version.

No mention was made of an Xbox One release, but given the fact the series has always been cross-platform the title will almost certainly be released on Microsoft’s new console as well.
