Game features procedurally generated universe with "infinite" possibilities

E3 2014: No Man’s Sky making console debut on PS4

UK developer Hello Games’ hotly anticipated new IP No Man’s Sky will make its console debut on PS4.

A new trailer for the game was revealed during Sony’s E3 press conference. It showed a player exploring an unknown planet on foot, filled with dinosaurs and other creatures.

The trailer then took the player into a space ship and to a space battle, and then onto another planet with floating islands.

Hello Games founder Sean Murray said the game takes place in an entirely procedural uinivese that was “infinite” in size that “even we don’t even know what’s out there”.
