Computer graphics event SIGGRAPH has announced that EA's chief visual officer Glenn Entis is one of the show's three featured speakers.

EA’s Entis to speak at SIGGRAPH ’07

Entis will be talking about the recent accomplishments in game animation and upcoming challenges posed by interactive graphics in videogames. At EA he works with the company’s designers and artists to decide direction and discover new technologies for the pre-production and visual development of upcoming titles. He was previously the CEO of DreamWorks Interactive.

SIGGRAPH takes place from August 5th to August 9th in San Diego.

"We are honored to have such a seasoned industry leader speak at SIGGRAPH 2007,” said Joe Marks, SIGGRAPH 2007 Conference Chair, who hails from Walt Disney Feature Animation.

“Glenn is a leading member of the computer-graphics community, a compelling visionary, and a long-time SIGGRAPH attendee. We look forward to hearing his insights into the future direction of the industry.”
