Mystic's character animation tech adds support for Intel and PowerPC-based systems

EMotion now available for Mac

Mystic Game Development, the developer behind the EMotion FX character animation SDK, has updated the middleware to support Macs.

The SDK, which is also available for PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii, provides full body skeletal and facial animation, Lipsync, real time motion retargeting, inverse kinematics, PhysX ragdoll support and exporters for 3ds Max and Maya.

"The Mac platform is getting more and more market share, and as a result the Mac gaming sector is getting stronger," said John van der Burg, development director of MysticGD.

"We are pleased to support PowerPC and Intel based Macs and are looking forward to working closely together with more Mac developers."
