Five events throughout September will teach local devs how to use the engine

Epic Games readies Unreal educational tour of Korea

The Korean branch of Epic Games is preparing another nationwide tour designed to introduce Unreal to new developers.

The Let’s Start Unreal programme builds on an event held in Seoul earlier this year, as well as previous events like the Unreal Summit. It gives local studios the chance to learn about Unreal Engine 4 and how to create a game with it from scratch.

The tour will visit five cities throughout September, starting with Daejeon on September 6th. Gwangju will follow the next day, with Jeonju hosting Unreal on September 8th. Finally, the tour will head to Daegu on September 20th and Busan on the 21st.

Each day will offer devs sessions about developing games for mobile, VR and AR platforms, as well as talking them through the major features of Unreal Engine such as the Blueprint visual scripting series.

Attendees will also get the chance to try out Epic’s Bullet Train VR demo. You can find out more info about the tour at Unreal’s blog.
