Ex-EA, BioWare, Trion and Blizzard community manager Claudia Adams-Esgrow passes away

Claudia Adams-Esgrow, former social advisor for EA, has died.

Before joining EA, Adams-Esgrow worked as a community manager at studios including BioWare, Trion Worlds and Blizzard, beginning her career at the latter on the support team for World of Warcraft.

Other MMO titles she worked on during her career included Star Wars: The Old Republic and Rift.

Julia Adams-Esgrow, Claudia’s wife, announced on Facebook that “Claudia passed away unexpectedly while we were on a camping trip this weekend with friends”.

Further details are yet to be shared, but Julia has created a GoFundMe page to raise money towards Claudia’s funeral and memorial costs.

Julia also announced that there will be a Celebration of Life Memorial held for Claudia on July 1st in the Bay Area.
