Facebook keynote set for GDC2010

The 2010 Game Developers Conference will feature a keynote dedicated to the industry-changing social network Facebook, event organisers have announced.

Facebook platform manager Gareth Davis will deliver a keynote entitled How Friends Change Everything, exploring how and why the social network has blown open avenues for content delivery.

"Like last year, the summits are an outlet to explore the emerging segments of our industry and these keynotes highlight exactly that mission," said GDC event director Meggan Scavio.

The event will open March 9 2010 in San Francisco, with early bird registration open now until February 4.

Meanwhile Tiger Style owner Randy Smith is set to present a broad keynote address, entitled Increasing Our Reach: Designing to Grab and Retain Players’.
