Five Nights at Freddy’s novel arrives next week

Five Nights at Freddy’s creator Scott Cawthon has announced a novel based on the hit horror series will arrive next week.

In a post on the franchise’sSteam forums, Cawthon revealed Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Untold Story will release on Amazon Kindle first, with a physical release to come after.

This is not something recent; I’ve been working alongside a professional writer for the last ten months crafting this story,” Cawthon said. I’m very excited about the finished product. It expands the mythos and reveals a human element never before seen in the games.”

Multiple reports point to a previously leaked release date of December 22ndfor the Kindle edition, while the paperback release is apparently planned for 2016.
