German developer adds four new names to advisory board

Flaregames board scores Bigpoint founder

The founder of German games publisher Bigpoint has joined the board of Throne Wars developer Flaregames.

Heiko Hubertz has been with Bigpoint for over 11 years, but his isn’t the only name added to the roster. Xyologic founder Zoe Adamovicz, Harry Neilis of Accel Partners and Thomas Grota of T-Venture have also joined the board.

"It’s an appealing task to help guide the coming growth phase of Flaregames – Klaas and his team have laid a solid foundation during the last few years," said Hubertz.

Flaregames is a mobile-centered studio founded in 2011 by Klaas Kersting of Gamerforge, and the addition of two industry entrepreneurs and two investors is certainly welcomed by the CEO.

"I’m honoured to have found, in addition to our long-standing partners Harry and Thomas, two such wonderful entrepreneurs as Zoe and Heiko," said Kersting.

"We’re very well positioned to deal with the challenges of the gigantic market of mobile games."
