Escape Studios, Waterfront Entertainment, Loughborough and Iguana join trade association

Four new members for Tiga

Tiga has scored a number of new members this month, with four games development firms backing the UK industry association.

New members in June include Escape Studios, Waterfront Entertainment, Loughborough College and Iguana Entertainment.

The mix of educators and development studios sign up as the organisation continues to lobbying universities and the government for better relations with the games industry.

“We are extremely keen to develop links with local games businesses and would like to hear from anyone working in the East Midlands who would be interested in talking to us about guest lectures, work experience, internship programs or establishing a graduate recruitment scheme," said Loughborough College’s creative industries and computing team leader David Pautsc. "We hope by joining TIGA we will have the opportunity to network with games businesses and higher education institutes offering degree level courses in games development.”

Escape’s technology director Mark Cass added: “At Escape Studios we believe building a strong community is essential for any industry and we want to support TIGA’s work in this area. We hope to work closely with TIGA to offer games developers value and high quality service via our expertise in all areas of CG art and animation.”
