Audio â??crossoverâ?? discussed with Richard Jacques and Ubisoftâ??s Jon Vincent

Game audio explored at key Pinewood event

The often overlooked subject of game audio will be the focus of an upcoming trade event to be hosted at the world-famous Pinewood Studios.

Taking place on Tuesday February 16, Games Meet Film will feature panel discussions and Q&As from the likes of decorated composer Richard Jacques, Ubisoft audio director Jon Vincent, as well as Media Mill’s Jerry Ibbotson.

Joining them will be a selection of mixers and composers from Pinewood – the landmark British film production studio responsible for hundreds of major movies since the 1930s.

Naturally, with luminaries from both industries set to attend, the topic of discussion will be how game and film production techniques cross over.

The Tiga-organised event will also showcase the very best in audio production from both sectors.

Tickets are scarce, but those interested in attending should email Eva Field here.
