GameFounders opens applications for Spring 2017 accelerator

GameFounders has opened their Spring 2017 accelerator program for applications, offering ten teams seed funding and the chance to learn from industry giants.

GameFounders was first established in 2012, and has since invested in 60 game studios from 26 countries. Applications are accepted from every country worldwide, so if you’re reading this, you’re eligible to apply. Just click this link and apply before November 15 2016.

If you’re in the lucky 10, you’ll be given access to the GameFounders mentorship program which gives you access to game executives from places like Blizzard and EA or marketing gurus that work with companies like Ketchapp and Rovio. You’ll also get $25’000 USB in exchange for some equity, details on the specifics weren’t provided to us in the press release but will probably be negotiated.

This round of GameFounders, the 7th, will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, kicking off in January 2017. Previous GameFounders success stories include Brazilian VR pioneers IMGNATION, and Lithuanian studio Tiny Lab productions who reached 10 million downloads with their game Tiny Kids Racing.
