Portuguese studio signs deal to publish casual game

Gameinvest partners with RealGames

Portugal’s Gameinvest studio has partnered with RealGames to create and publish a piece of original casual IP.

“Collaborating with RealGames’ team of veteran producers will enable us to explore new ideas and successfully bring those new ideas to fruition,” said Mariana Cardoso, general manager of Gameinvest. “Working with RealNetworks will provide the means through which our new content will reach new audiences – truly a milestone for Gameinvest and our fans.”

In 2008 Gameinvest published a number of casual-orientated titles including Toy Shop Tycoon for the Nintendo DS and Enigma 7 for the PC. The studio is also readying Hysteria Hospital: Emergency Ward for PC and the two Nintendo formats, which is due for release in June this year.

While Gameinvest will develop the new unnamed IP, RealGames will produce and publish the title in Europe, the US and latin America.
