Games industry hits Westminster

The Westminster New Media Forum has announced details of a new event examining the issues affecting the future of the games industry in the UK.

The morning of talks follows the publication of the DCMS’ Creative Economy Strategy Document, and will cover themes such as standardised classification, training, education, financing and the UK’s competitive position.

The event will feature talks by Rt. Hon. Margaret Hodge MP, the Minister for Culture; ELSPA director general Paul Jackson and Tiga’s CEO Richard Wilson, and takes place in the morning of Tuesday July 8th at Sixty-One Whitehall in London.
