Gameshastra’s iOS, Android puzzler Rescube out this month

Gameshastra will release its first completely in-house developed game – Rescube, later this month.

Scheduled for release on iOS and Android devices, Rescube follows the (mis)adventures of Gisu, an alien who finds himself stranded on an unknown planet when all he really wanted was a vacation in Hawaii.

The puzzle game tasks the player with helping Gisu find scattered pieces of his ship, which is achieved by moving boxes to clear Gisu’s path to each piece.

The challenge comes from the fact that each box can only be moved in predetermined directions and each of the game’s 50 levels lets you move only a fixed number of boxes.

Here’s a trailer for Rescube. A Lite version of the game is available on iTunes now.
