'Infiltrator' demo provides a sneak peek at Unreal Engine 4 capabilities

GDC 13: Man on the run in UE4 teaser trailer

Epic has released a small snippet of a brand new trailer showing off its latest development platform Unreal Engine 4.

As revealed by GameTrailers, the video, which only lasts 11 seconds, appears to depict a character on the run after coming across a body on the floor.

Entitled Infiltrator, the short teaser demo shows off the engine’s lighting and shadow effects as well as smooth character models and movement.

Epic is expected to reveal the full trailer later this week to further show off the new engine’s power.

The company previously demo’d its Elemental trailer at E3 last year, and also released further footage of the same demo during the PS4 reveal last month.
