GDC 13: PS4 takes on free-to-play with Blacklight

Zombie Studios’ online multiplayer FPS Blacklight: Retribution is to be one of the first free-to-play titles on PlayStation 4.

The studio demonstrated the game at GDC 2013 on Tuesday, which was supplemented by an official reveal on the PlayStation Blog.

Blacklight: Retribution is currently available on PC and via Steam. It garnered positive reviews following its released in April 2012.

The game lets player do battle in various urban war zones and will include ten maps with nine game modes, such as deathmatch, capture the flag and a co-op survival mode.
