New Virtual Reality Developers Conference to also take place on March 14th and 15th

GDC 2016 opens call for speakers

GDC 2016 is now accepting speaker submissions for lectures, roundtables, panels and tutorials.

Conference organisers are considering applications for seven tracks: audio, design, production, programming, visual arts, advocacy, which covers social issues such as diversity and quality of life, and the business, marketing and management track.

The deadline for speaker proposals is August 27th.

A new standalone Virtual Reality Developers Conference will also take place during the first two days of GDC between March 14th and March 15th. Here experts will provide insight into making virtual reality and augmented reality experiences.

GDC Summits and All-Access Pass holders will have access to all VRDC content. Submissions for VRDC will begin in September.

GDC 2016 will take place between March 14th and March 18th next year at the Moscone Convention Centre in San Francisco.
