Dear Esther creator Dan Pinchbeck and ngmoco's Ben Cousins revealed as first speakers

GDC Europe registration begins

Registrations have now opened to attend the annual Game Developers Conference in Europe, it has been announced.

Organisers for the industry event have also named the first round of speakers which will include Dear Esther creator Dan Pinchbeck discussing ambiguity and abstraction in game writing and ngmoco’s Ben Cousins presenting a keynote on ‘When the Consoles Die’.

Other speakers are set to include Christopher Schmitz and Benedikt Grindel from Ubisoft Blue Byte and Frictional Games’ Thomas Grip

Summits at the event will include focuses on Independent Games, Smartphone and Tablets and Social and Online.

Discounts are available to developers who book early, with up to 25 per cent off until July 18th.

GDC Europe will take place between August 13th and 15th in Cologne, Germany.
